I hope you are finding yourself eating healthier meals. If not yet, it will come. At least we are enjoying our orange a day and remember to drink your water. I will be adding our veg on Monday. Then, let’s stick to it for a week, along with the orange.
Some people I care about are grieving greatly, I grieve along with them, too. I am touched by the life of the person who died– who was so special to so many. His family is suffering so much at this time. It is interesting how God has numbered our days. My mom and step-dad were there tonight at the wake– they are 87 and 92… our friend who has died, my cousin’s husband, was only 44. The age my mom was when she had me… I took my aunt home and she shared her dinner with me at the nursing home. I was famished as I had all I could do to get my kids off to the dentist (don’t ask) and to their club. Dinner and coffee were skipped, and my head was aching by my journey home. I was so glad God provided my need en route home…
The other day I found myself throwing things on my dinner plate. My husband loves white rice, but I just don’t eat that much– instead I accompanied my salmon with shoestrings of spicy yam. It was good alongside some leaf lettuce and more of that golden cauliflower… whatever you do, try to make healthier choices.
Breakfast suggestion, plain yogurt, sliced fruit (I love mangoes. Check out this info, too.) I do add a trace of maple syrup or raw agave nectar (this doesn’t mess with your blood sugar the way other sweeteners do.) Throw a few toasted nuts on your plate and you are set. Have a nice day!
