Bible study was great.  In fact, my kids were keyed.  As always, I delivered doughnuts to my children afterwards, this their standing excitement after my visit to the breadshelf at the church.  They were delighted to uncover a new VCR underneath the oat and honey loaf!  It was the ladies’ annual ‘junk’ trade.  I’d forgotten about it and hadn’t brought a thing to share, but the benevolent crowd (and kind, I might add) of women encouraged me to help myself.  So I did!  We haven’t had a working unit for quite some time, and needless to say, my kids have been stuck on the same DVD.  Now they will have a picnic inside anytime it rains this spring.  Bring it on, baby!

It looks like my aunt has cancer now– this information seems to keep changing, it’s frustrating because the doctors haven’t really come to determine the situation.  It is so sad… I just learned of a girl I was in elementary school with who just passed away from breast cancer… Again, so sad.  She had the sweetest, most adorable grin.  Her whole personality was alight… she impressed me as a child.  My friend just told me she was the same as an adult.

The weather has been lovely!  That is encouraging.  Spring always holds promise.

Today was peppers again, guess I mean yesterday, now.  Did you have yours?  And your orange?  I put peppers together with onion, choizo chicken (very hot) sausage, cayenne sprinkled yam slices, cranberry goatcheese, yum!  Put in a tortilla and there ya go, dinner!  Tasty one at that.  It’s late and I need to visit with Joe, my beau.

Later gator.
